New Issue: Citigroup prices $2.97 million buffer securities tied to S&P MidCap 400

Chicago, June 3 – Citigroup Inc. priced $2.97 million of 0% buffer securities due May 31, 2019 linked to the S&P MidCap 400 index, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
The payout at maturity will be par plus any index gain, up to a maximum return of 28.65%.
Investors will receive par if the index falls by up to 20% and will lose 1% for every 1% decline beyond 20%.
Citigroup Global Markets Inc. is the underwriter.
