Goldman Sachs plans 6.5-year CDs linked to basket of three indexes

Chicago, May 5 - Goldman Sachs Bank USA plans to price 0% equity-linked certificates of deposit due Nov. 27, 2020 linked to a basket of indexes, according to a term sheet.

The basket consists of the S&P 500 index with a 50% weight, the Russell 2000 index with a 25% weight and the S&P MidCap 400 index with a 25% weight.

The payout at maturity will be par plus 50% of any basket gain.

If the basket falls, the payout will be par plus a minimum return of between 8.5% and 9.5%.

Goldman Sachs & Co. is the agent. Incapital LLC is the distributor.

The CDs will price on May 22 and settle on May 28.

The Cusip number is 38147JYZ9.
