Spinnaker Exploration plans $300 mln universal shelf

New York, Oct. 25 - Spinnaker Exploration Co. said it plans to file a shelf registration for up to $300 million of debt securities, preferred stock, common stock, warrants, stock purchase contracts and trust preferred securities with the Securities and Exchange Commission. The trust preferreds would be sold through Spinnaker Exploration Finance Trust I.

Spinnaker Exploration is an independent energy company based in Houston, Texas.
