New Issue: Spectranetics prices $45 million follow-on offering at $12.50

New York, May 4 - Spectranetics Corp. priced a $45 million follow-on offering of common stock at $12.50 per share, discounted from Wednesday's close of $12.87.

The Colorado Springs, Colo.-based maker of single-use medical devices sold 3.6 million shares. A further 540,000 shares are available for the over-allotment option.

Jefferies & Co., Inc. was bookrunner. First Albany Capital Inc. was co-lead manager and Montgomery & Co., LLC and Rodman & Renshaw, LLC were co-managers.

Proceeds from the sale will be used for capital expenditures, working capital and other general corporate purposes and business development activities.
