Spectra Energy Capital pricing 10-year senior notes Monday for commercial paper repayment

New York, Feb. 25 - Spectra Energy Capital LLC is in Monday's market with an offering of 10-year senior notes (Baa2/BBB/BBB), according to a filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

Morgan Stanley & Co. LLC is the active bookrunner. Passive bookrunners are Deutsche Bank Securities Inc., RBS Securities Inc. and SunTrust Robinson Humphrey Inc.

Proceeds will be used to repay commercial paper used to repay $495 million of 6.25% senior notes that matured on Feb. 15 and for general corporate purposes, including acquisitions and repayment of commercial paper.

The notes are guaranteed by Spectra Energy Corp.

The natural gas transmission and production company is based in Houston.
