New Issue: Barclays prices $2.2 million capped leveraged notes on oil & gas ETF

Morgantown, W.Va., Jan. 26 – Barclays Bank plc priced $2.2 million of 0% capped leveraged notes due Jan. 25, 2018 linked to the SPDR S&P Oil & Gas Exploration & Production exchange-traded fund, according to a 424B2 filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The payout at maturity will be par plus double any fund gain, up to a maximum settlement amount of $1,705 for each $1,000 principal amount of notes.

Investors will be exposed to any losses.

Barclays is the agent.
