Barclays plans buffered return enhanced notes linked to four funds

Chicago, April 14 - Barclays Bank plc plans to price 0% buffered return enhanced notes due April 30, 2018 linked to a basket of funds, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange.

The basket consists of the iShares MSCI EAFE index fund with a 46% weight, the SPDR S&P MIDCAP 400 exchange-traded fund trust with a 23% weight, the iShares Russell 2000 ETF with a 19% weight and the iShares MSCI Emerging Markets ETF with a 12% weight.

If the basket falls by up to 25%, the payout at maturity will be par plus 1.85 to 2.05 times the average basket return.

Otherwise, investors will receive an amount equal to par (i) minus 1.3333% for each 1% decline beyond 25% (ii) plus 1.85 to 2.05 times the average basket return.

Barclays is the agent.

The notes will price on April 25 and settle on April 30.

The Cusip number is 06741UCE2.
