New Issue: Credit Suisse sells $4.75 million buffered accelerated return securities on ETF basket

Chicago, Jan. 8 – Credit Suisse AG, London Branch priced $4.75 million of 0% buffered accelerated return equity securities due March 25, 2021 linked to a basket of the iShares Russell 2000 ETF with a 40% weight and the SPDR S&P Midcap 400 ETF Trust with a 60% weight, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

If the basket return is positive, the payout at maturity will be par plus 1.5 times the return of the basket up to 14.1%.

Investors will receive par if the basket falls by 10% or less and will lose 1% for every 1% that the basket declines beyond 10%.
