New Issue: Citigroup sells $2.86 million buffer securities on SDPR S&P MidCap 400

Morgantown, W.Va., Feb. 8 – Citigroup Global Markets Holdings Inc. priced $2.86 million of 0% buffer securities due Jan. 29, 2021 linked to the SPDR S&P MidCap 400 ETF trust, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The notes are guaranteed by Citigroup Inc.

The payout at maturity will be par plus 200% of any ETF gain, capped at par plus 23.25%.

If the ETF falls by up to 10%, the payout will be par.

Otherwise, investors will lose 1% for every 1% decline beyond the 10% buffer.

Citigroup Global Markets Inc. is the agent.
