New Issue: Barclays prices $1 million of notes due 2019 linked to basket of funds

Olympia, Wash., Sept. 13 – Barclays Bank plc priced $1 million of 0% notes due Nov. 14, 2019 linked to an unequally-weighted basket of funds, according to a 424B2 filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The basket consists of the SPDR S&P 500 ETF Trust with a 50% weight, the SPDR S&P MidCap 400 ETF Trust with a 35% weight and the iShares Russell 2000 ETF with a 15% weight.

The payout at maturity will be par plus the lesser of any basket gain and 10.5%.

Investors will receive par if the basket falls by up to 15% and will lose 1% for each 1% decline beyond 15%.
