New Issue: RBC sells $95,000 market-linked notes linked to basket of two ETFs

Columbus, Ohio, June 10 – Royal Bank of Canada priced $95,000 of 0% market-linked securities with leveraged upside participation to a cap and contingent downside due June 6, 2022 linked a basket of exchange-traded funds, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The basket consists of equal weights of the SPDR S&P 500 ETF trust and the iShares MSCI China ETF.

The payout at maturity will be par plus 1.25 times any basket gain, capped at par plus 48%. Investors will receive par if the basket falls by up to 20% and will be fully exposed to the basket decline if it falls by more than 20%.
