AutoZone shareholder ESL Partners sells shares, keeps 37.6% stake

Charlotte, N.C., July 20 - ESL Partners, LP sold 750,085 shares of AutoZone, Inc. stock on July 15 through July 17, according to a schedule 13D/A filed on Monday with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The shares were priced from $157.13 to $160.22 each.

Between June 19 and June 23, ESL sold 454,153 shares of AutoZone for a 39.0% ownership stake, a prior SEC filing said.

The investor and its affiliates beneficially own 20,206,018 shares, or 37.6%, of the Memphis-based automotive parts retailer's outstanding shares.
