SPDR Barclays Capital ETFs make changes to portfolio managers

Tacoma, Wash., Jan. 27 - SPDR Series Trust announced changes to the portfolio managers of 12 SPDR Barclays Capital exchange-traded funds in a 497 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

John Kirby is no longer a portfolio manager of any of the funds, and Allen Kwong was removed from four.

Patrick Bresnehan and Mahesh Jayakumar replaced Kirby and Kwong as the portfolio managers of the SPDR Barclays Capital Short Term Corporate Bond ETF, the SPDR Barclays Capital Intermediate Term Corporate Bond ETF, the SPDR Barclays Capital Long Term Corporate Bond ETF and the SPDR Barclays Capital Issuer Scored Corporate Bond ETF.

Bresnehan is a vice president of SSgA FM and a senior portfolio manager in the fixed income portfolio management team. He joined SSgA FM in 2010.

Jayakumar is a principal of SSgA FM and a portfolio manager in the fixed income portfolio management team. He joined SSgA FM in 2008.

Kwong and Michael Brunell remain the portfolio managers of the SPDR Barclays Capital Short Term International Treasury Bond ETF and the SPDR Barclays Capital International Treasury Bond ETF.

In addition, Kirby is no longer a portfolio manager of the following ETFs:

• The SPDR Barclays Capital Short Term Treasury ETF;

• The SPDR Barclays Capital Intermediate Term Treasury ETF;

• The SPDR Barclays Capital Long Term Treasury ETF;

• The SPDR Barclays Capital Convertible Securities ETF;

• The SPDR Barclays Capital Aggregate Bond ETF; and

• The SPDR Barclays Capital High Yield Bond ETF.

Brunell and Karen Tsang remain the portfolio managers of the three Treasury funds. Brunell and Max DeSantis are still the portfolio managers of the three remaining funds.
