New Issue: Morgan Stanley sells $4.55 million capped gears linked to index basket

Morgantown, W.Va., May 16 – Morgan Stanley Finance LLC priced $4.55 million of 0% capped gears due April 30, 2021 linked to a basket of indexes, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
The notes are guaranteed by Morgan Stanley.
The basket consists of the Nikkei 225 index with a 27.5% weight, the Euro Stoxx 50 index with a 22.5% weight, the Hang Seng index with a 15% weight, the MSCI Emerging Markets index with a 15% weight, the S&P/ASX 200 index with a 10% weight, the FTSE 100 index with a 5% weight and the Swiss Market index with a 5% weight.
The payout at maturity will be par of $10 plus 3 times any basket gain, capped at par plus 41.5%. Investors will be fully exposed to any losses.
Morgan Stanley & Co. LLC is the agent with UBS Financial Services Inc. as placement agent.
