Spartan Stores upsizes credit facility to $255 million

New York, Aug. 23 - Spartan Stores Inc. increased the size of its credit facility to $255 million from $225 million, according to an 8-K filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission Thursday.

The increase was completed on Aug. 17.

Wachovia Capital Finance Corp. is the agent on the deal. Other participants include Key Bank, Bank of America, National City Business Credit, General Electric Capital Corp. and Fifth Third Bank.

And, with the upsizing, Wells Fargo Bank was added as a lender.

Spartan is a Grand Rapids, Mich.-based groceries distributor and retailer.
