Credit Suisse to price buffered return equity notes tied to S&P 500 index

Columbus, Ohio, Aug. 9 – Credit Suisse AG, London Branch plans to price 0% buffered return equity notes due June 1, 2018 linked to the S&P 500 index, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The payout at maturity will be par plus any index gain. Investors will receive par if the index falls by up to 10% and will lose 1% for each 1% that the index falls beyond 10%.

Credit Suisse Securities (USA) LLC is the agent.

The notes will price Aug. 26.

The Cusip number is 22548QE68.
