Southwest Georgia Ethanol net income up to $3.17 million in November

Pittsburgh, Dec. 20 - Southwest Georgia Ethanol, LLC reported net income of $3.17 million for November on revenues of $34.02 million, according to its monthly operating report filed Tuesday with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Middle District of Georgia.

The figures showed improvement from the $355,154 of net income posted for October on revenues of $30.4 million.

The company also reported cash and cash equivalents of $12.52 million as of Nov. 30, up from $11.15 million at the end of October.

Southwest Georgia Ethanol is a wholly owned subsidiary of First United Ethanol LLC, a Pelham, Ga.-based ethanol producer. The subsidiary filed for bankruptcy on Feb. 1, 2011. The Chapter 11 case number is 11-10145.
