Southwest Gas to issue 30-year senior notes via four bookrunners

Knoxville, Tenn., May 28 – Southwest Gas Corp. expects to price dollar-denominated senior notes due 2049, according to a 424B5 filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The notes feature a make-whole call until six months prior to maturity and then a par call.

BNY Mellon Capital Markets LLC, BofA Securities Inc., J.P. Morgan Securities LLC and Wells Fargo Securities LLC are the bookrunners. Blaylock Robert Van, LLC and Samuel A. Ramirez & Co. Inc. are the co-managers.

Proceeds will be used to repay borrowings under the company’s credit facility.

The natural gas distributor is based in Las Vegas.
