Moody's gives Matador Baa3.sk

Moody's Investors Service said it assigned a national-scale rating of Baa3.sk to Matador Automotive Vrable, as.

The rating carries a stable outlook.

According to Moody's, the Baa3.sk rating benefits from: (1) Matador's stable and strong revenue growth, as the company benefits in particular from its proximity to newly established assembly plants of automotive manufacturers in Central and Eastern Europe, (2) its product quality and related certifications that enable it to act as the tier 1 supplier to various groups of original equipment manufacturers or as the subcontractor to such tier 1 suppliers and (3) its relatively solid standalone profitability, as reflected in an EBIT margin that has averaged above 7% in the past three fiscal years, but has been under pressure recently.
