Malaysia's Southern Bank to start roadshow Monday for dollar-denominated tier I perpetual notes

St. Louis, Oct. 21 - Malaysia's Southern Bank Bhd. will begin a roadshow Monday in Singapore for a dollar-denominated offering of hybrid tier I perpetual notes, according to an informed source.

Roadshow stops will follow in Hong Kong on Tuesday and in London on Wednesday.

UBS is the bookrunner.

The notes will become callable after 10 years.

Credit ratings on the notes remain to be determined, according to the source.

Southern Bank is Malaysia's ninth-largest lender.
