Southern Air marks $2.97 million operating loss for October period

Pittsburgh, Nov. 30 - Southern Air Holdings, Inc. reported a $2.97 million operating loss for the period of Sept. 28 to Oct. 31 on $30.94 million in revenues, according to its monthly operating report filed Friday with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware.
The net loss for the period was $12.65 million.
In addition, Southern Air had $9.32 million in cash and cash equivalents at Oct. 31.
Southern Air, a Norwalk, Conn.-based cargo carrier, filed for bankruptcy on Sept. 28. Its Chapter 11 case number is 12-12690.
