Moody's rates Autodesk notes Baa2

Moody's Investors Service said it assigned a Baa2 senior rating to Autodesk, Inc.'s proposed note issuance and affirmed its existing Baa2 senior ratings. The outlook is stable.

The agency said Autodesk's Baa2 rating is supported by the company's solid competitive position in the design software sector, good market growth expectations, solid cash flow generation and good liquidity.

Autodesk is well positioned as a leading player in the fragmented market for design software, but there is steady competition from large and small providers, both public and private, Moody’s noted.
