South Edge appeals bankruptcy court's trustee appointment order

Pittsburgh, Feb. 9 - South Edge, LLC has appealed the court directing appointment of a Chapter 11 trustee to oversee its Chapter 11 bankruptcy case, according to a Tuesday filing with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Nevada.

The trustee appointment was ordered on Feb. 3.

The company has elected to have the appeal sent directly to the U.S. District Court for the District of Nevada.

South Edge is a joint venture between KB Home wholly owned subsidiary KB Home Nevada Inc. and a third-party property management firm.

The involuntary bankruptcy case was filed on Dec. 9. The Chapter 11 case number is 10-32968.
