South Africa talks dollar benchmark notes due 2026 at 350 bps area

Atlanta, April 7 – Republic of South Africa set initial talk in the Treasuries plus 350 basis points area for a dollar-denominated issue of benchmark-sized notes due April 14, 2026 (expected ratings: Baa2/BBB-/BBB-), a market source said.

Citigroup Global Markets Inc., Rand Merchant Bank and Standard Chartered are the lead managers for the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The co-lead manager is Investec.

Proceeds will be used for general purposes of the government.
