Solyndra seven-member official unsecured creditors committee appointed

Pittsburgh, Sept. 15 - Solyndra LLC's official committee of unsecured creditors has been appointed by Region 3 U.S. Trustee Roberta A. DeAngelis, according to a Thursday filing with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware.

The committee is comprised of Michael Kits of Schott North America, Inc. of Elmsford, N.Y.; Jeff Kolbow of MGS Manufacturing Group, Inc. of Germantown, Wis.; Robert Duncan of Certified Thermoplastics Co. Inc. of Santa Clarita, Calif.; Teresa Kossayian of West Valley Staffing Group of Sunnyvale, Calif.; Mark Petri of Plastikon Industries Inc., based in Hayward, Calif.; Simon Barnbach of VDL Enabling Technologies Group of Eindhoven, Netherlands; and Peter M. Kohlstadt.

Solyndra, a Fremont, Calif.-based manufacturer of cylindrical solar photovoltaic systems for large industrial and commercial rooftops, filed for bankruptcy on Sept. 6. The Chapter 11 case number is 11-12799.
