Fitch affirms Solvay

Fitch Ratings said it affirmed Solvay SA's long-term issuer default rating and senior unsecured ratings at A-. The ratings have been removed from Rating Watch negative and assigned a stable outlook.

The rating actions follow the announcement on Aug. 31 of the closing of Solvay's cash tender offer for Rhodia SA within the terms initially proposed by Solvay in April 2011.
