St. Louis, Mo., Jan. 30 - Price talk of 9¾%-10% emerged Wednesday on Solectron Corp.'s planned offering of $500 million seven-year senior notes (Ba1/BB+/BBB-), according to a syndicate source.

The deal is expected to price on Friday.

Goldman Sachs & Co. is the bookrunner. Banc of America Securities and J.P. Morgan are joint leads, and Scotia Capital is co-manager.

The off-the-shelf notes are non-callable for four years.
