Solar Capital to sell six-year notes; funds to repay credit facility

Knoxville, Tenn., Nov. 13 – Solar Capital Ltd. intends to offer notes (//BBB-) due 2023, according to a prospectus filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The notes have a make-whole call feature and then are callable at par.

J.P. Morgan Securities LLC and Wells Fargo Securities LLC are the joint bookrunners.

Proceeds will be used to pay down debt under the company’s credit facility.

Solar Capital is a business development company based in New York.
