Sociedad Quimica y Minera de Chile signs $100 million credit agreement

New York, March 4 - Sociedad Quimica y Minera de Chile SA said its subsidiary Royal Seed Trading Corp AVV has signed a $100 million credit agreement.

The credit agreement has a five-year tenor and an initial interest rate of Libor plus 32.5 basis points.

The syndicate includes BBVA Securities Inc., BNP Paribas and Rabobank Curacao NV.

Sociedad Quimica y Minera de Chile, based in Santiago, is an integrated producer of specialty fertilizers, iodine, lithium carbonate and a producer of industrial chemicals, including nitrates.
