Sociedad Quimica y Minera de Chile to sell senior notes due 2020

By Christine Van Dusen

Atlanta, April 12 - Chile's Sociedad Quimica y Minera de Chile SA (SQM) is planning to issue 10-year notes, according to a company news release.

JPMorgan and Deutsche Bank are the bookrunners for the note offering, which could total about $200 million, a market source said.

The source also said SQM is holding a roadshow for the notes this week in London and the United States.

SQM is a Santiago-based fertilizer producer.

The sources declined to detail SQM's planned use of proceeds from the bond sale. The banks are expected to arrange investor meetings in London, Los Angeles, Boston and New York between April 12 and April 13, the sources added.
