Chile's Pampa Calichera to start roadshow Tuesday for $250 million 15-year amortizing notes

By Paul A. Harris

St. Louis, Feb. 5 - Chile's Sociedad de Inversiones Calichera (Pampa Calichera), a specialty chemicals and fertilizers producer, will begin a roadshow Tuesday in London for its $250 million offering of 15-year senior secured notes (expected BB-), according to a market source.

The issue size will not grow.

The roadshow will continue Wednesday and Thursday in New York.

Deutsche Bank has the books for the Rule 144A and Regulation S offering.

The notes will have a 13-year average life and will come with a make-whole call provision at Treasuries plus 50 basis points.

Proceeds will be used to refinance debt, to finance the purchase of shares and for general corporate purposes.

The company is based in Santiago.
