Slovenia launches new three-year euro notes, tap of 2029 notes

New York March 24 – Slovenia launched a dual-tranche offering of notes on Tuesday, including a new three-year note denominated in euros and a tap of its euro-denominated 1 7/8% notes due March 2029, according to a syndicate source on Wednesday.

The €850 million tranche of 2023 notes launched to yield mid-swaps plus 50 basis points after being talked at mid-swaps plus 50 bps.

The €250 million tap of 2029 notes launched to yield mid-swaps plus 65 bps after being talked in the mid-swaps plus 65 bps area.

The order books for the two issues stood in excess of €1.73 billion at the time of launch, with orders in excess of €1.35 billion for the 2023 notes at that time.

Barclays, BNP Paribas, Commerzbank, Credit Agricole CIB, Goldman Sachs International Bank, HSBC and JPMorgan are bookrunners for the Regulation S transactions.
