Moody’s rates SK unit notes Aa3

Moody's Investors Service said it assigned an Aa3 rating of Aa3 to the planned backed senior unsecured dollar-denominated notes to be issued by SK Battery America, Inc. and guaranteed by Kookmin Bank.

The agency rates the issuer Baa3 and Kookmin Aa3.

SK Battery America plans to use the proceeds to finance or refinance new and/or existing eligible projects as defined in the green financing framework of its grandparent entity, SK Innovation Co. Ltd. (Baa3 stable).

The outlook is stable.
