S&P rates SK Hynix notes BBB-

S&P said it rated SK Hynix Inc.’s planned dollar-denominated senior unsecured notes BBB-. The offering will include a green tranche.

“We rate the notes the same as the long-term issuer credit rating on SK Hynix (BBB-/stable/--). This is because we do not foresee any material structural or contractual subordination risks in the company's capital structure,” S&P said in a press release.

The company plans to use the proceeds for general corporate purposes. The green notes tranche will be used to finance eligible projects under SK Hynix's green finance framework.
