Sirva holds amendment call to extend financial delivery date and modify covenants

By Sara Rosenberg

New York, Aug. 7 - Sirva Inc. held a lender call on Monday morning to launch a proposed amendment to its credit facility that would extend the deadline for providing certain financial statements and provide flexibility under covenants, according to an 8-K filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission Monday.

More specifically, under the amendment, the company is looking to extend until Oct. 15 the deadline to deliver audited financial statements for the year ended Dec. 31, 2005.

In addition, the company is looking to amend financial covenants to gain more flexibility for the periods Dec. 31, 2005 through March 31, 2008 and enable the initiation of steps towards realigning its capital structure and improving its liquidity position.

Sirva is a Westmont, Ill.-based relocation services provider.
