Sintex lowers conversion price of 7.5% step-down convertibles due 2017

San Luis Obispo, Calif., May 28 - Sintex Industries Ltd. notified the Singapore Exchange Securities Trading Ltd. that it lowered the conversion price of its $140 million of 7.5% step-down convertible bonds due 2017.

The company decreased the conversion price to Rs. 65.74 from Rs. 75.6, effective Wednesday.

The Gujaral, India, company is a provider of plastics and niche textile-related products.
