India's Sintex Industries schedules meeting to vote on convertibles

Knoxville, Tenn., Dec. 4 - Sintex Industries Ltd. informed the Bombay Stock Exchange that it will hold an extra ordinary general meeting on Dec. 24 to discuss issuing convertibles.

The company authorized plans to issue the bonds at a board of directors meeting on Nov. 30.

Other securities being considered include qualified institutional placements, Global Depositary Receipts and American Depositary Receipts.

Based in Kalol, India, Sintex Industries is a maker of plastic products including building supplies.
