Monarch loses representation on Silicon Graphics' board

Charlotte, N.C., Aug. 29 - Monarch Alternative Capital LP employee Chun Won Yi resigned from the board of directors of Silicon Graphics, Inc.

The investor and its affiliates beneficially own 3,109,640 shares, or 26.8%, of the Sunnyvale, Calif., manufacturer of scalable servers and storage items.

Monarch said it does not currently have any plans related to the sale or other disposition of its shares as a result of the resignation, it was reported in a schedule 13D filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
