SIGA Technologies operating loss grows to $2.61 million for December

Bethlehem, Pa., Jan. 15 – SIGA Technologies, Inc. reported an operating loss of $2.61 million for December on $2.83 million in revenue, according to its monthly operating report filed Friday with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of New York.

For November, SIGA posted a $1.35 million operating loss on $321,000 in revenue.

For December, the company reported a net loss of $3.19 million, compared to a net loss of $1.95 million for November

The company also had $112.71 million in cash and cash equivalents as of Dec. 31, down from $125.84 million at the end of November.

Based in New York, SIGA Technologies develops and commercializes solutions for serious unmet medical needs and biothreats. The company filed for bankruptcy on Sept. 16, 2014 under Chapter 11 case number 14-12623.
