SIGA has operating loss of $1.62 million in June, increased revenue

New York, July 15 – SIGA Technologies, Inc. reported an operating loss of $1.62 million for June on $394,927 in revenue, according to its monthly operating report filed July 15 with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of New York.

For May, the company posted an operating loss of $1.54 million with revenue of $249,209.

SIGA’s net loss for June was $1.78 million, improving from a net loss of $2.32 million in May.

The company also reported $115.64 million in cash and equivalents as of June 30, up from $101.88 million as of May 31.

Based in New York, SIGA Technologies develops and commercializes solutions for serious unmet medical needs and biothreats. The company filed for bankruptcy on Sept. 16, 2014 under Chapter 11 case number 14-12623.
