SIGA Technologies reports operating loss of $1.49 million in February

New York, March 16 – SIGA Technologies, Inc. marked an operating loss of $1.49 million on revenue of $501,112 in February, according to its monthly operating report filed Monday with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of New York.

In January, the company reported an operating loss of $2.05 million on revenue of $124,430.

SIGA’s net loss for February was $2.27 million, down from $2.67 million in January.

The company also posted $97.39 million of cash and cash equivalents as of Feb. 28, down slightly from $99.76 million at the end of January.

Based in New York, SIGA Technologies develops and commercializes solutions for serious unmet medical needs and biothreats. The company filed for bankruptcy on Sept. 16 under Chapter 11 case number 14-12623.
