S&P rates Siemens digital bond A+

S&P said it assigned an A+ issue rating to the €60 million, one-year, senior unsecured digital bond issued by Siemens AG, its first digital bond. Siemens will place the bond privately.

Hauck Aufhauser Lampe Privatbank AG acts as the crypto securities register under a preliminary license from Germany's financial regulatory authority, BaFin.

If the crypto securities register is not operational, Siemens can switch to another crypto registrar or to replace the digital bond with an analog bond. Additionally, Siemens can call the bond without the consent of the bondholder.
