Sidley Austin names Twomey partner in bankruptcy/corporate reorganization practice

Pittsburgh, June 24 - Sidley Austin LLP has named Dennis M. Twomey a partner in the firm's bankruptcy/corporate reorganization practice, according to a news release.

The firm said the bankruptcy/corporate reorganization practice encompasses all areas of corporate reorganization and bankruptcy matters, focusing on the representation of various parties in complex Chapter 11 cases.

Twomey, currently an associate with Sidley Austin, received his law degree, with honors, from The University of Chicago Law School and his bachelor's degree, with highest honors, from University of Illinois.

He will be located in the firm's Chicago office.

Effective July 1, Sidley Austin said it will have 681 partners in offices in the United States, Europe, Asia and Australia.
