Thailand's Siam Cement to issue 5 billion baht of four-year debentures

New York, July 26 - The Siam Cement PCL said it plans to issue 5 billion baht of new debentures to replace its existing issue of 5 billion baht of debentures, which are set to mature on Oct. 2.

Proceeds also will be used to help repay existing short- and long-term bank loans.

The new debentures will bear a tenor of four years.

The issue will be offered to holders of debentures issued by Siam Pulp and Paper PCL. And the remaining will be offered to individual investors who hold any issues of debentures issued by Siam Cement or Siam Pulp and Paper PCL.

The subscription period will start on Sept. 4 and will end on Sept. 27.

Siam Commercial Bank PCL is coordinator for the transaction. Meanwhile the underwriters are Siam Commercial Bank PCL, Kasikornbank PCL, Bangkok Bank PCL, Thai Military Bank PCL and Bank of Ayudhya PCL.
