Moody's rates Shizuoka bond Aa3

Moody's Japan K.K. said it assigned an Aa3 rating to a domestic bond issued by Shizuoka Prefecture.

The outlook is stable.

Moody's said the rating reflects its view that given the close linkage between the government of Japan (Aa3, stable) and the regional and local governments, their ratings should be the same.
