Ship Finance files automatic shelf

Chicago, Dec. 5 - Ship Finance International Ltd. registered to sell an undetermined amount of securities in an F-3ASR filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

Covered by the shelf are common stock, debt securities, warrants, purchase contracts and units. Securities may be issued as convertibles.

Proceeds will go toward general corporate purposes.

The issuer is a New York-based ship owner.
