S&P rates Shinsei Bank notes BBB

Standard & Poor's said it assigned a BBB rating to Shinsei Bank Ltd.'s (BBB+/stable/A-2 ) euro-denominated fixed- to floating-rate callable subordinated notes due 2020.

The rating on the notes is one notch lower than the long-term counterparty credit rating on Shinsei, reflecting its subordinated nature, according to the agency.
