Moody's rates Sherwin-Williams notes A3

Moody's Investors Service said it confirmed the Sherwin-Williams Co.'s senior unsecured rating at A3.

Moody's also confirmed the ratings assigned to the company's various debt instruments and assigned an A3 rating to the proposed five- and 30-year notes that will be used to partially finance the acquisition of Consorcio Comex.

The outlook is negative. The rating actions conclude the review for downgrade, which commenced after the announced acquisition of Comex.
