Shearman & Sterling promotes Chubbock as development, finance partner

Buffalo, N.Y., Feb. 28 – Shearman & Sterling has elected Trinh Chubbock as a partner in the firm’s project development and finance practice in its London office, according to a news release.

Chubbock is an energy specialist focusing on project development, energy M&A and commercial contracts.

She has a broad practice covering the full value chain from upstream oil and gas to downstream sectors, including some experience in midstream work and LNG, and also focuses on renewable energy and energy transition.

The March 1 promotion follows the recent election of Omar Alkaffas as a partner in the firm’s project development and finance practice in Abu Dhabi.

Shearman & Sterling is a law firm specializing in major corporations, financial institutions and government entities.
