China’s Shandong Chenming Paper registers to sell RMB 2.6 billion medium-term notes

Madison, Wis., June 22 – Shandong Chenming Paper Holdings Ltd. said it has registered to issue RMB 2.6 billion of medium-term notes.

The notes may be issued in multiple tranches over two years.

In December the company proposed to issue up to RMB 5.6 billion of bonds with maturities of over one year.

Proceeds will be used to repay loans, to replenish working capital and for project investments, as previously announced.

The Shandong, China-based paper manufacturer concurrently registered to issue RMB 13.8 billion of super and short-term commercial paper.
